Jammu: At least 16 passengers were injured today when a mini-bus skidded off the road and fell into a gorge in Reasi district of Jammu, a police official said.

The accident took place near Pattian when the driver lost control over the vehicle which rolled down 50 feet into the gorge, the official said.

He said the private passenger vehicle bearing registration No. JK11B-1535 was on way to Dharmari from Challad village.

The injured persons were shifted to PHC Dharmari from where four persons were referred to District Hospital Reasi in a critical condition.
