Srinagar: The teacher couple who were sacked by the school they were working in, have been reinsitated as teachers in a private school Muslim Education Institute at Pampore.

Education minister Syed Altaf Bukhari  and J&K State Human rights commission had reacted sharply to the sacking of teacher couple.

Media reports said that Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Ghulam Mohammad Dar intervened in the matter after the issue gathered public attention through media reports.

Tariq Ahmad and his wife Sumaya Tariq are both residents of Arigam Tral and were teaching in MEI Pampore and the couple was sacked on day of their wedding.
