Srinagar: A class 12 students body from Kashmir was found hanging from a ceiling of a room in Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur on Saturday.

According to reports the boy, identified as Zahid s/o Abdul Ahad Bhat resident of Hanger, Yaripora, Kulgam.

Zahid according to family was adopted by his uncle had gone to Jaipur along with a truck loaded with apples some 10 days ago.

Media reports quoted Sub-Inspector Baneer Singh, investigating the case, said that police recovered the body of Zahid Ahmad Bhat hanging from the ceiling at a rented room in Muhana Mandi area of Jaipur.

“It seems a case of suicide. We have started inquest proceedings under section 174 Cr.Pc,” Singh said.

Family members of Zahid have left for Jaipur.

“The entire family is in a state of shock and Zahid cannot take such a step rest will be unraveled by the police,” media reports quoted family of the deceased.
