Sopore: Residents of Ningli area of Sopore are up arms against Power Development Department (PDD) for not restoring the damaged transformer.

“PDD department has failed to provide us electricity despite harsh winter and this is sixth time that our transformer developed snag in a year,” Locals told INS.

Inhabitants have appealed concerned Minister, MLA and PDD to look into the matter on priority basis and redress the issue at earliest.

However, concerned PDD official from Sopore was not available for his comments despite several attempts.
