Srinagar: Government forces on Wednesday morning started a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Laribal Village of Kakapora Tehsil in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Official sources said that 55 Rashtriya Rifles  and Special Operation Group (SOG) Kakapora launched a joint search operation  after receiving inputs about the presence of militants in the area.

Local sources said that large number of forces have been deployed in the area and door to door search operation was  going on when the last reports came in. Details awaited.
