JAMMU (INS): Commissioner Secretary Education Farooq Ahmed Shah said that remediation classes with heating system for students will be started in government schools in Kashmir valley during the winter season with the help of volunteer teaching staff who will provide quality education for students from 10th to 12th class.

 Farooq Shah while speaking to INS said, “We are going to start remediation classes with heating system for students and entire Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) have been asked to monitor the same and asked them to entertain the complaints if lodged by the parents pertaining to non functional of heating system in government schools.”

We have started remediation classes with heating system for students in 10 government schools in every Zone under the jurisdiction of ZEOs who were asked to monitor each every facilities being provided to students falling in such zones and brought every report to higher ups and concerned of Education department so that the parents of student will send their wards hassle free to the government school where government has already setup arrangement heating system for students.

He further asked ZEOs to take action against the Private Schools running in the valley who has not arranged heating system till date as being arranged in the government schools. He further directed them to take serious action against such Private schools for ignoring the government directions in this context and terminate their authorization for running their schools if founded non availability of heating system.

Keeping in view the engagement of students in class 12th Board examination, Shah said, “Directorate of School Education Kashmir has extended the last date for online registration for the CM’s Super- 50 Coaching classes which are likely to start in the first week of December 2017.

On the demand of aspiring candidates especially the fresher’s who are presently busy in exams, the submission of registration forms through online mode for the CM’S Super-50 coaching stands extended up to 28th of this month. Students are informed to collect their admit cards and information regarding the examination centres from 30th November onwards. The information regarding the revised entrance test date will be announced later on.

“A special training program for the faculty of Super -50 coaching program is presently going on at the State Institute of Education, Srinagar. Now , the Education department decided to provide the same facilities including remediation classes with heating system for students in snowbound and hilly areas falling in Jammu region during the winter season so that student may not be deprived of quality education,” he disclosed.
