CM’s grievance cell team visits district hospital Bandipora, CHC Sumbal

Srinagar: Chief Minister’s grievance cell on Thursday expressed satisfaction with working of doctors at district hospital Bandipora and CHC Sumbal.
A senior official said that the team appreciated the working of CMO, Medical Superintendents, BMOs, Doctors and other staff which “pumps in more energy and motivation to them and facilitate restoration of faith into health institutions.”
“Despite inadequate infrastructure the district Hospital Bandipora and CHC Sumbal are managing the show 24×7,” the officer said. He adds: “We were happy to see people praising the whole staff of hospitals especially the Medical superintendent.”
Meanwhile, he said the bio-medical waste management needs to be put into “forward linkage with proper disposal.”
“Municipal committee needs to be called by the Medical Superintendent to discuss the scientific management of this waste. Moreover proper record maintenance of this waste shall be ensured,” the officer said, adding, “Toilet facilities at Sumbal CHC need to be revisited.”
A doctor said that while the grievance cell team was carrying on with the surprise visit, one patient with PSVT and hypotension with “wide QSS duration in shock” was received at ER room. “The patient was reverted with D C shock by Dr Parvez, Dr imtiyaz Physician, Dr Saleem anaesthetic with active support of paramedical staff.”
The doctor said the patient was reverted and normal sinus rhythm was achieved. “he was saved in front of CM grievance cell team,” the doctor said.
