Ganderbal: Ahead of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti’s public darbar in the district employees of the Ganderbal Muncipal committee were put to paint the fencing and bridge near the mini secretariat, on Sunday.

The employees of the GMC, according to them, were asked to paint the places as the state CM is going to hold public darbar at districts Mini secretariat.

“We are 18 employees who were ordered to this,” one of the GMC employee painting  the bridge told INS.

Some of the employees who were put to do facelift of the area, complained that, since they are not ‘permanent employees’ they have to ‘follow the orders’ or ‘they will face bad times ahead’.
