INS impact: Civil Secretariat in Jammu begins ‘Swachta Abhiyan’ after caught on wrong foot

Jammu: Day after INS depicted the grim picture of ‘Swachta’ inside secretariat premises at Jammu, authorities Thursday began ‘Swachta abhiyan’ inside the central seat of government and ‘cleaned filthy areas and mended the broken water pipes.’

The state government was caught on a wrong foot after INS on Wednesday reported how foul smell and heaps of garbages are lying in open and water pipes are leaking.

This is how it looks after cleaning.

Director Estates Tasadduq Jeelani had promised action and today officials were ordered to clean the areas of garbage.
