JAMMU, NOVEMBER 24: The Government  cancelled attachments and deployments of all teachers and masters posted in Gurez and working in other areas with immediate effect on Friday.

In addition, the Government has also cancelled the attachments and deployments of teachers and Master of Tulail area, who have been working in Dawar and other plain areas of Gurez Valley.

Many deputations during the visit of the Chief Minister on October 31 had complained to her that a number of teachers and masters appointed for Gurez and Tulail areas have either been attached or deployed at places like Bandipora and other places which, they complained, had hampered the quality of education at schools in the area.
