SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 23 – Taking cognizance of non-compliance of government order No: 939/Edu of 2017 dated: 17/11/2017 regarding observance of winter vacation in Kashmir Division, the Directorate of School Education Kashmir has enjoined upon all the principals of private registered schools to follow the winter vacation schedule in letter and spirit.

“It is stressed that under no circumstances, the schools shall conduct academic activities in violation of above order,” said a circular issued by Director School Education Kashmir, Dr G N Itoo.

It further said that if any arrangement with regard to winter coaching has been planned by the private schools, it shall only be made operational by prior permission of the Directorate, with full justification including an undertaking that the arrangement will be run on the basis of voluntary consent of parents/students.
