Kupwara: Nov 19: A hardcore Drug peddler named as  Hilal Ahmad Dar son of Ab Rahman Dar resident of Chogal has been booked under PSA by Handwara Police,

under the garb of Hosiery  shop at  main Town Handwara, he used to sell Narcotic drugs and sychotropic substances among the most vulnerable section of society that is  youth,  the scale of his involvement in drug peddling can b gauged from the fact that  4 cases under NDPS Act is registered  against him at Ps Handwara ( Fir No- 22/2005, Fir  No 277/2014– Fir No- 273/015 And Fir no– 298/017 all under section  8/20 NDPS ACT ).

Regarding the same case  SHO Handwara Azim Iqbal said  That, The war against drug menace will be continue till this social evils will completely  be eliminated.

Meanwhile religious preacher and persons of different sections of society hailed Handwara Police for booking Hilal Ahmad Dar under PSA and they appealed Govt to make more strong laws to punish such bad elements of the society.
