Upper reaches in Budgam receive season’s first snowfall

Budgam: After Sonmarg, Gulmarg, the upper reaches of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Friday received the season’s first snowfall while rains lashed the plains.

Famous tourist destinations – Yousmarg, TosaMaidan and Dodhpathri – received first snowfall of the season, said an official.

He said that around three inches of snow accumulated in Yousmarg area.

Sitaharan village in Khag tehsil and upper areas of Khansahab also received the first snowfall of the season.

Rains lashed the plains of the district.
