Strict action against official found resorting to dilly delaying tactics while dealing cases of private schools

JAMMU: A delegation of Private Schools Association today called on Education Minister, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari and projected its demands.

Responding to their issues, the Minister said that government recognizes the contribution of private players in education sector and it will provide every support to them for running their institutions as per the set rules and regulations.

The Minister asked the senior functionaries of the education department to ensure single window clearance while issuing   NOCs, renewal and new recognitions. Responding to the complaints of delegation, the Minister called for strict action if any official of the department is found resorting to dilly delaying tactics while dealing with the cases of private schools.

Meanwhile, the Minister asked the Private School Owners to strictly follow the set norms in terms of charging fee, provision of infrastructure and payment of salary decent salary along with other emoluments to the teachers. He called on them to strive for maintaining high standards of education to produce highly capable human resource for the state.
