Srinagar: The army has termed the return of a young Kashmiri footballer, who had joined the militant outfit Lashkar over a week ago, back home a brave decision. Majid Khan returned home to surrender after his mother released an emotional video.

Major General BS Raju said, “It was a very brave decision by Majid Khan, I compliment him and assure that he will be able to get back to normal life very soon.”

The 20-year-old Majid reportedly surrendered after walking into a Rashtriya Rifles camp at Kulgam on Thursday evening. He came with his arms and ammunition. (INS)
