Srinagar:  Incarcerated Muslim League chairman and Hurriyat (G) General Secretary (III) Masarat Alam Bhat was once again slapped with Public Safety Act (PSA) 36th time by authorities on Wednesday evening.

The fresh orders in this regard were passed yesterday evening by the Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, sources said.

Masarat has been shifted to Kotbalwal jail Jammu during last night.

Strongly condemning the slapping of yet another PSA on Masarat, a Muslim League spokesman said that authorities are taking court orders casually as if the said orders have no sanctity.

Masarat, was arrested in October 2010 after he spearheaded the then mass uprising.

It is pertinent,  the court had earlier ordered his relaease after quashing his 35th PSA. (INS)
