Riyadh: Srinagar Strikers Jeddah will clash with Rawalakot Rangers Jubail in the finals of Kashmir Premier League after both the teams smashed their counterparts in Semis of the tourney.

The final match between SSJ vs RRJ will be played on 24th November 2017 at 9:00 AM and will be broadcasted live on:  www.facebook.com/kplsaudi

In the first Semifinal match of the tourney between Rawalakot Rangers Jubail and Downtown Dynamites Alkharj, RRJ emerged victorious.

DDA won the toss and decided to bowl first, the bowling order had to face the dust after RRJ smashed bowlers and compiled a mammoth total of 202 runs on board.

Amir Pervez with 38, Najmus Saqib with 35 and Farhan Mushtaq with 29 were top scorers.

DDA bowlers- Showkat took 2 wkts while Aarif, Altaf, and Azhar took 1 wkt each.

In reply DDA were bundled out for just 82 runs, no batsman showed resistance to the RRJ bowlers except Aarif who scored 33 runs.

Wasim Ahmad took 4 quick wickets destroying the whole batting order.

RRJ became first team to qualify for Final of KPL-1.

Man of the Match was awarded to Wasim Ahmed for his brilliant and match winning bowling figures of 4/18, and performer of the match was awarded to Amir Pervez for his sensible batting.

Match 2:

2nd Semifinal of the KPL-1 was played between Baramullah Bashers Nofa and Srinagar Strikers Jeddah. BBN won the toss and elected to  bat first however, with a struggle to stay on the pitch, they put up a score of 155/7 runs in 20 overs.

Lukman Khan scored 36 runs for BBN.

Bowling spell of Aijaz Kanth with 3/17 and Mushtaq Ahmed with 2/9, restricted BBN to 155 runs in all important second Semifinal.

From SSJ Bilal wani (ranked no. 1 in KPL batsman ranking) smashed BBN attack around Nofa Stadium, Bilal Wani scored 98 runs of 42 balls, but missed to put up a  century by 2 runs, earlier he lost the ton by 1 run.

With 10 sixes and fours 4’s Bilal blazed.

SSJ booked their place in the final match with six wicket victory over BBN.

Bilal was adjudged player of the match for his blistering knock of 98 of 42 balls and Aijaz Kanth was awarded performer of the match for his spell of 3/17.
