GVEI wins Gold, Silver, Bronze in All India Tong-il moo-do championship

Srinagar: Green Valley Educational Institute students came home with a bouquet of medals after a successful tour to a national level Tong-il moo-do championship.
Twelve  students from GVEI participated in all India Tong-il moo-do championship which was held in Sonipat, Haryana between 3-5 November 2017.

Three students won gold, one silver and three bronze in the championship which was attended by international dignitaries.

Students who wont the titles in various formats are

• Jaria Ashaie (GOLD)
• Numaan (GOLD)
• Azhar Amir (GOLD)
• Suhaan Abid (SILVER)
• Ali Nayeem (BRONZE)
• Shahaan Imtiyaz (BRONZE)
• Zumain Manzoor (BRONZE)

“The competition was cut-throat competition as 15 states were participating in the championship. We had to work extremely hard to make our mark at the event,” the winning students team said.

Chairman GVEI M.Y. Wani felicitated the students, their parents and the teachers for this achievement- “Our students have always showcased their talent on all platforms and at all levels. Kudos to you all,” said Wani.
