The three militants killed in an encounter with forces late Monday evening in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district have been identified, police said on Tuesday.

A police spokesperson said that the slain militants belonged to Jaish-e-Muhammad militant outfit and were identified as Muhammad Bhai, a Divisional Commander and a resident of Pakistan; Talha Rasheed, nephew of Masood Azhar and Waseem Ahmad a local militant.
