Pulwama: An army man was killed in an ongoing gunfight between militants and forces in Aglar Kandi village of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

A civilianTariq Ahmad Bhat s/o Ghulam Bhat r/o Kandi Aglar was injured during clashes between locals and government forces.

SSP Pulwama Mohammad Aslam was quoted by a news agency saying that an army soldier Sham Sundar of 44 RR  succumbed to his injuries he received during gun battle.

The encounter and protests are going on in the area.
The civilian sustained bullet wound and has been hospitalized.

Meanwhile, Internet services have been snapped in Pulwama district in the wake of the gunfight.
