Sopore: Consolidating further our state-wide expansion in terms of our reach and services, new offices like this one will play a key role in streamlining not only our business operations but will take us closer to the geographies of these zones and allow us to serve the people better.

J&K Bank Chairman and Executive President said this today while inaugurating the bank’s Zonal Office Complex for Kashmir North at Amargrah Sopore in presence of MLA Rafiabad Yawar Dilawar Mir, DDC Baramulla, DIGP NKR, ADC Sopore CPO and Bank’s Executive Presidents, besides SSP Sopore Shri. Harmeet Singh Mehta(KPS) Senior President, Zonal Head Baramulla, Vice President, valuable customers, senior citizens and other senior officers of the bank. Representatives from various trade bodies and associations were also present on the occasion, a company statement said Monday Morning.

The CM also inaugurated the B/U in the same building, on the occasion. “I hope commissioning of this office besides a business unit would lead to a marked improvement in our services and access in the zone,” Chairman said.

Notably, the zone comprises of Baramulla,Bandipora and Kupwara districts of Kashmir.

Besides, Chairman Executive President provided a brief overview of the bank’s recent progress in business and infra-structure.

“Our expansion within the state aims at taking all the unbanked areas into the financial fold besides leveraging the under-banked areas through better and more accessible banking services,” he added.

The representatives of trade bodies had a healthy interaction with the management after the inaugural ceremony, wherein they extended gratitude for creation of the zone and the subsequent inauguration of the business unit.
