Missing boy of Soura traced in Sumbal, handed over to family

Friday: Police on Friday claimed that it has recovered a missing boy of Soura area of Srinagar was traced from Sumbal Bandipora ‘within seven hours’.

In a statement, police said that Fayaz Ahmed Zargar son of Mohd Sikander resident of Hamza Colony Awantabawan Soura had reported in police station Soura that his son namely Ehsan Fayaz Zarger, a student of 10th standard had left home to meet his friend at Dulbagh Soura. But neither he had reported back to his home nor reached to his friend and is missing since then.

“On this report, case FIR NO 90/17 under section 363 RPC was registered in police station Soura and investigation/search was started. Police employed all efforts to trace the missing boy and finally the missing boy was traced from Sumbal Bandipora within 07 hours of his missing,” police said.

He was brought to the police station and handed over to his family members after completing all legal formalities.

“Investigation of the case is on,” police said.
