Srinagar: One boy was injured after government forces had to open fire on protesters in Nowgam area of Srinagar on Saturday.
Identified as Arsalan has been hospitalised.
Protests erupted near railway station in Machow against braid-chopping in Kashmir Valley.
Forces opened fire and lobbed teargas shells to disperse protesters, reports said.
