Teams formulated to monitor braid cutting incidents, Div Com Kashmir

Srinagar: Taking serious note of un abated braid chopping incidents taking place on daily basis, Divisional commissioner Kashmir Division Baseer Khan, Wednesday said that they have formulated teams at district level to monitor the situation.

“The special teams have been formulated to monitor this menace of braid cutting that is happening which has disturbed people a lot,” talking to INS Div Com Kashmir said.

He also said that the teams which have been formulated comprise of people from different department and are working at ‘even tehsil level’.

“District administrations have taken this problem seriously and all are making their best efforts to get to the reality of the issue that is troubling masses,” Div Com said. He also that tough action will be taken against rumor mongering and police have been given instructions to look into the matter and crack the case as soon as possible.

“Police is continuously monitoring the situation and directives there off have been passed,” Div Com said.
