DSEK distributes all terrain bicycles among students in Bandipora

Bandoora : Education department distributed all-terrain mountain bicycles to 30 meritorious students of class 10th from 2016 annual regular batch of the district.

Director School Education Kashmir, Dr G N Itoo said almost 1400 all terrain mountain bicycles costing Rs 2 crore are being distributed among meritorious 10th standard students in all 12 districts of Kashmir division.

“Half of these have already been distributed and rest will be distributed soon,” Itoo said.

The students who were provided bicycles in bandipora live at a distance of 2.5 or more kilometers from their existing educational institutions.

District Development Commissioner Bandipora, Sajad Hussain was present on the occasion.
