Srinagar: In wake of the call to call for protest by Joint Resistance Leadership, district administration on Thursday announced to suspend class work in all schools and colleges for second consecutive day on Friday “as a precautionary measure.”
“The class work in schools and colleges across the Kashmir Valley shall remain suspended on Friday,” an official told INS. The decision has been taken as a precautionary measure, he added.
The JRL comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mohammad Yasin Malik said people will continue to raise their voice against the shameful assault on women and will peacefully protest against it on Friday.
