Srinagar: Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has been placed under house detention and JKLF chairman Yasin Malik has been arrested ahead of protest against braid chopping, on Friday .
The Joint Resistance Leadership of Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, S A Geelani & Yasin Malik has called for protests after friday prayers against the braid cutting incidents in the valley.
Syed Ali geelani remains under house arrest.
