Scores of traders and transporters gathered inside the Pratab Park here in Srinagar to register their protest.

Traders and transporters are on strike since September 5 when Srinagar Development Authority accompanied by state police sealed battamaloo bus stand by digging all its entry and exit points.

The traders told INS that government has forced them to go for one day hunger strike as they failed to address their issues. They said that All Traders Joint Coordination Committee members decide whether to intensify protest in coming days
