Srinagar: In yet another incident of braid chopping, 55-year-old woman became the latest victim in Malbagh area of Srinagar on Tuesday.

Identified as Shareefa w/o Mohammad Yousf Ahanger fell unconscious after she was hit in head unknown persons wearing pheran.

The incident happened at her home at Hafiz Bagh area of Malbagh, Srinagar.

Station house officer Soura Ayaz Rasool confirmed the incident.

The officer said that the woman was immediately taken to SKIMS Soura and her condition is said to be stable.

Soon after the incident, the officer said that a police party was immediately dispatched to the spot.
