Government is trying its best to crack braid chopping cases in the state, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti said on Monday.

Mehbooba made these comments while talking to media on the sidelines of a function at Dal Lake in Srinagar.

“We are trying our best to crack the case and bring those involved to book,” said Mehbooba.

She said a team of doctors is meeting the victims to help in the investigation.

Authorities have set up helplines and doubles the reward for information from Rs 3 lacs to Rs 6 lacs however till now the investigation has been going towards a dead end and no arrests have been made so far.
