Girls of AGS Uri bag Silver, Bronze medal in shooting competition

Srinagar: The two girl students from Valley bagged silver and bronze medal in India level shooting competition organized by NCC Junior Wing in New Delhi.

The duo belong to Army Goodwill School Uri.

NCC cadets from 17 states attended the camp, and was conducted between 17 -28 Sep 2017 at Delhi.

“Rabia and Sonali of AGS Uri were judged second and third best in shooting at National Level and bagged silver and bronze respectively,” Army spokesman said.

The 1 Jammu and Kashmir NCC Batallion won second place in overall ranking.

Earlier both the girls were judged best firers in Jammu and Kashmir and have also won gold medals during NCC camp at Nagrota.
