Mumbai: At least 22 people died in a stampede on Friday on a foot overbridge (FOB) linking Elphinstone Road and Parel suburban railway stations in Mumbai.

Reports said the deadly stampede happened after commuters pushed and jostled on railway bridge in morning rush hour.

While cause of the stampede not immediately known police is investigating the case.
