SIT constituted for investigation of braid cutting cases

Srinagar, September 25: In view of increasing incidents of braid cutting cases in district Kulgam, a special investigating team (SIT) has been constituted to investigate these cases under Addl SP Kulgam.

“General public is requested to come forward to help police for speedy investigation and are advised to inform police about any such incident immediately,” police said.

Moreover, a helpline has been established at PCR Kulgam which will remain open 24×7.

“People are advised to call on   7051510660  for any help and assistance,” police said.

Meanwhile, Kulgam police has appealed  people to not ‘pay head to the rumors being floated by anti social elements.’
