02 persons injured in road accidents in Kashmir

Srinagar: One tourist died while five other persons including three tourists were injured in two separate road accidents in Leh and Budgam.

In Leh, a Xylo vehicle bearing registration number JK10A-4332 driven by Jigmeth Singay met with an accident at Changla in the jurisdiction of Police Station Nyoma, resulting in on spot death of one tourist and injuries to 03 tourists, all residents of Thailand and the driver.

The injured persons were shifted to SNM Hospital Leh for treatment. Leh police has registered a case in this regard.

In Budgam, a motorcycle bearing registration number JK04C-7108 driven by Aijaz Ahmad Bhat resident of Khanpora Beerwah hit and injured a pedestrian namely Fayaz Ahmad Wani resident of Kandoora at Kandoora in the jurisdiction of Police Station Beerwah.

The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Beerwah for treatment where from he was shifted to JVC Hospital for further treatment. Budgam police has registered a case in this regard.
