Tral mourns civilian deaths in explosion, shutdown observed

Shutdown in Shopian continues against ‘disappearance’ of youth

All shops and other business establishments are closed in Tral, while public transport is off the roads. The shutdown is being observed against the civilian deaths caused by grenade on thursday.

Two civilians including a woman died after suspected militants hurled a grenade which exploded  causing grievious injuries to at least thirty people.

The deaths have been widely condemned including militant outfits, however, IGP kashmir Muneer Khan told INS that since forces have not suffered casualties militants wont accept it.
