Srinagar: State Government on Tuesday ordered transfer of two KAS officers and allotted additional charge to another officer in the interest of administration.
According to a government order, Nagendra Singh Jamwal (KAS), Deputy Excise Commissioner (Distilleries), Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to the Government, Industries and Commerce Department.
Ashish Kumar Gupta (KAS), Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Appeals), Jammu, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Excise Commissioner (Distilleries), Jammu, vice Nagendra Singh Jamwal.
Khalid Majeed (KAS), Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Vigilance and Inspections), Jammu, has been asked to hold the charge of the post of Deputy Commissioner, Commercial Taxes (Appeals), Jammu, in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Yaseen Baqal, Under Secretary to the Government, Forest, Environment and Ecology Department, has been transferred and posted as Under Secretary to the Government, Horticulture Department. He shall be deemed to have been relieved.
