SRINAGAR: Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti Thursday disbursed financial assistance among the victims who lost their eyesight due to pellet injuries in the valley.
“The 17 visually impaired victims who were provided financial assistance today were affected due to injuries during law and order situations last year,” government spokesman said.
The spokesman added that the ‘disbursing financial assistance’ follows a ‘slew of measures initiated by the Chief Minister for the rehabilitation of victims of violence in the State.’
