Srinagar: The State Government on Thursday announced that it will make online payment for advertisements to ensure transparency.
“In order to streamline the payments and to ensure transparency, it is hereby ordered that hence forth all the payments on account of government advertisements shall be made by the respective Joint Directors, Jammu/ Kashmir online within a period of 10 days after receipt of bills,” a government order issue here said.
The order, sources said, has been issued in consonance with a decision taken at a meeting, chaired by the minister information department, Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali, on September 7.
