Srinagar: Joint Resistance leaders, Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik  will march to NIA headquarters and  court arrest themselves in in New Delhi on September 9.

The announcement of court arrest came during the press conference held at the historic jama masjid today.

“We have decided to go to Delhi on Saturday and tell NIA people at their headquarters to arrest us,” Malik said.

According to Malik the tickets are already booked for the said date.

Syed Ali Geelani addressed the press conference through phone as he was not allowed to come the Jama Masjid.

The JRL told media that they announced the press conference after they managed to dodge the security apparatus ‘that doesn’t allow us to meet’.

“We came here almost 5 hours prior and then announced the press conference to beheld inside jama masjid,” Malik said.

Pertinently NIA raided many places today in Srinagar over alleged funding cases.
