Protests in South Kashmir over Rohingya Muslim ‘genocide’

Srinagar: Demonstrations erupted in various places in South Kashmir on Tuesday in support of the Rohingya Muslims, demanding the ‘ethnic cleansing’ by the must stop and international community must play its role

Reports said that protest were held in Kulgam district, and Students of Government Degree College Pulwama too held a protest demonstration.

Day earlier protests against the persecution of Rohingya Muslims were held in Tral and Pulwama towns

The students of GDC Pulwama also marched on the roads raising slogans against Myanmar and in favour of Muslims.

Clashes broke out between protestors and government forces after protestors began pelting stones, reports added.
