Srinagar: Pakistan on Sunday reiterated that the country will continue its moral, political and diplomatic support to the people of Kashmir and urged international community to play its role to end what it called Indian “repression” against innocent Kashmiris.
“The international community shall play its role to end Indian repression against innocent Kashmiri people in Kashmir,” Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif was quoted having said in statement by Radio Pakistan.
He said Pakistan will continue to extend moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiri people and take up their case with the International Community.
“Kashmiris have been undeterred and continuing to strive for their just right to self-determination,” he said.
Asif said while celebrating Eid, “we should not forget our Kashmiri brothers and sisters who are facing atrocities in Kashmir.”
