‘Eid prayers in Eidgah at 9:30 am, Mirwaiz to deliver sermon’

Srinagar: Anjuman-e-Auqaf Jamia Masjid on Thursday announced that the Eid-ul-Adha prayers would be offered at historic Eidgah here at 9:30 am.
In a statement issued here, a spokesperson of Anjuman-e-Auqaf Jamia Masjid said Kashmir’s chief cleric and chairman Hurriyat (M), Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, would deliver a sermon at 8:30 am before the Eid prayers.
“People are requested join the prayers in large numbers and bring jainamaz (prayer mat) along with them,” the spokesman added.
