Srinagar: The ruling PDP-BJP government has decided to re-organise the state’s information Department or Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) and has constituted a five-member committee headed by administrative secretary of the department to examine a proposal in this regard.
The other members of the committee Director Information, Joint Director Information (Hqrs), Joint Director Information, Jammu and Joint Director Information Kashmir, a government order issued here said.
The panel shall submit its report within a period of (15) fifteen days. The decision to re-organise the department and constitute the committee was taken at a meeting, chaired by Chowdhary Zulfkar Ali, minister for information as well as department of food, civil supplies and consumer affairs, on August 23, sources said.
