Srinagar: After the Supreme Court’s deferment of hearing the petitions calling for scrapping of Article 35-A, Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) on Friday withdrew its protest programme and August 29 shutdown.
The announcement was made by Hurriyat (M) chairman and chief cleric of Kashmir, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq during his Friday Sermon at the Jamia Masjid.
