Ganderbal: Accusing Trauma Hospital Kangan of medical negligence that costed young man his life Kangan area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district is closed and protests are going on.

Protesting against the hospital authorities and ‘stern action’ action against the Ambulance driver who was not present on his duties when a patient was reffered to SKIMS.

The delay costed the young boy his life.
22year old Mohammad Rafiq Bhat son of Abdul Rashid Bhat resident of Kachnambal Kangan a mechanic by profession fell unconscious on Wednesday afternoon at his own automobile shop.

He was rushed to Trauma Hospital Kangan, where he was reffered to SKIMS for specialized treatment, however there was no Ambulance driver available in the Hospital to ferry him.

After managing to reach SKIMS Rafiq was declared him brought dead at 9 pm on Wednesday.
Protestors  closed Srinagar-leh Highway at main market Kangan demanding strict action against the ambulance driver and the authorities for medical negligence.

Chief Medical Officer Peerzada Fayaz Ahmad Kangan told INS that the said driver has been placed under suspension and a probe has been ordered into the incident.
