 According to Police militant belonging to Hizbul Mujahideen was arrested a from Shopian village in south Kashmir.

“Police, 62 RR and 18 Bn CRPF during a raid arrested a hizbul mujahideen militant from Zainapora”, a police officer was quoted by a local news gathering agency.
The militant has been identified as Shahid ahmad Wani s/o Gh ahmad Wani r/o Kanigam, and one Chinese pistol, 9 rounds, a magazine has been recovered from his possession, agency said.
