Srinagar: Huriyat Conference led by Syed Ali Geelani on Monday demanded impartial probe into the killings 16-year-old boy Gowher Ahmad and cable operator Hilal Ahmad Malik in Shopian district of south Kashmir.
In a statement, the Hurriyat Conference said that “mysterious and innocents killings should be a matter of concern for us.”
“Various Indian agencies are working in state and mysterious killing is being carried under well thought out plan,” the Huriyat Conference said. Police has blamed LeT for both the killing and even claimed to have identified the militants of the organization who according to it are involved in the killing.
Appealing international bodies to take cognizance, the Hurriyat Conference said that it is their moral responsibility to play a role in stopping such incidents in Kashmir and bring facts to fore.
