Continuing its investigation over ‘terror funding casen Jammu and Kashmir  National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Wednesday conducted searches at about dozen places.

Sources said that the raids are being carried out at a dozen locations Srinagar, Baramulla and Handwara districts over alleged links to separatists.

Seven people have been arrested by NIA on July 24 over alleged funding of ‘terror and subversive activities’ in the Kashmir Valley. NIA also accused that arrested have been involved anti-India demonstrations and shutdowns.

The arrested included Altaf Funtoosh, son in law of Hurriyat G supremo Syed Ali Geelani, his personal secretary Peer Saifullah, Mehraj Kalwal district president Srinagar and Ganderbal of Tehreek e Hurriyat, Bitta Karate and Shahid ul Islam of Mirwaiz Umer Farooq led Hurriyat.
