Srinagar: In its anti-encroachment drive, Sonamarg Development Authority (SDA) demolished several illegal structures in Sonamarg area of the Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Monday.
On the directions of Chief Executive Officer Qazi Sarwar, a team headed by Bashir Ahmad Mir (officer of the SDA) demolished several structures which were illegally raised by some hoteliers.
While the drive will continue in future, Sarwar said that a warning has been issued to the hoteliers to refrain themselves from raising any illegal structure.
“Anybody found involved in illegal constructions would be dealt with strictly,” he said.
