Srinagar: With an aim to ensure fast track disposal of cases related with promotions, regularization of RETs, Medical Reimbursement claims and general promotions, the Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) Saturday ordered 122 promotions of masters to incharge Headmasters.
The Directorate has also granted In-Situ promotion in favour of 2006 teaching and non teaching employees of the department of Kashmir province in the month of July 2017.
In case of regularization of RETs as many as 204 regularization orders were issued during this period.
This is in addition to the regularization of 615 RETs already issued by the department in the month of June.
Meanwhile Medical reimbursement claims of 103 cases were cleared in the month of July. Under this category an amount of rupees 02 crore were released in favour of deserving and eligible employees.
In this regard the Director School Education Kashmir Dr G N Itoo said that under the instructions of Education Minister and Secretary to Government School Education Department, the Department is committed to ensure quality education to the students for which all the necessary steps are being taken.
He said all pending promotion/confirmation cases of teaching and non teaching employees will be settled in a time bound manner.
The Director has issued instructions to install electronic file tracking system in his office so as to ensure that no file remains pending on any table for more than 24 hours without genuine reasons.
He said the department is going to organize first of its kind State level Children’s Science Congress in the next month in which students will be provided opportunity to interact with National and International level scientists. Children will exhibit science models prepared by them during the science congress.
He said this is a step to boost the hidden talent of our students. (KNS)
